- When looking into the conventions of a magazine poster i have noticed that they all have one striking image which captures a viewers attention and draws them in. The image usually included a picture of the artist of a singular person that is linked to the artist in some way. This is so that it is establishing the brand image of the artist more and getting people familiar with the person.
- The poster follows the required size which is A4 portrait. This is because this is the size of magazine pages so for the poster to fit and look good in the magazine it should be made to these specifics.
- The poster always have big text at the top of the poster. This is to inform the audience of what the poster about giving them clear information so they are not confused and they know what they are looking at straight away.
- They usually have other additional information which is clear on the poster such as the date. Looking at the two posters below which are posters of artists in the same genre as the one i am using they do not have any additional information making them not follow conventions.
- There is usually a colour scheme which is fitted across the poster, to make everything fit together and not look out of place.
